With the recent outbreak of cholera in the FCT, U-Save Foundation decided to play a key role in curtailing the spread of the disease and ensuring there is no reoccurrence by the next raining season About 100 key stakeholders of Dakwa, Apia way and Dei-Dei communities were trained on safe WASH practices and prevention of cholera. Major drainages in Dakwa community were cleared and health facilities within the three communities were provided with medical supplies that would help with the treatment of new and existing cholera cases.
The triple H program was geared at promoting hygiene, giving hope and fighting hunger. It helped ease the burden of COVID-19 on the beneficiaries.
Ten (10) individuals and families were provided with hygiene kits, cash gifts and food packs.
The Foundation in is engage in capacity building of community stake holders on preventive measures of Cholera outbreak and also on the need to stay on alert.
