WHO WE ARE

U-Save Foundation is a leading non-governmental organization committed to providing clean water, proper sanitation, and improved hygiene practices (WASH) while tackling climate change challenges. Since May 2020, we have transformed lives and communities in Nigeria.

With a focus on sustainable impact, we execute precise projects, engage in consultations, and drive advocacy. We deliver sustainable water solutions, promote safe sanitation practices to end open defecation in Nigeria by constructing and rehabilitating toilet facilities and empower students through scholarships. Our initiatives raise WASH awareness, promote climate education, implement waste management, and foster volunteerism. We also offer consultancy services to government parastatals for effective WASH programs.

WHAT WE DO

The number of people in the world without access to clean water and adequate sanitation continues to grow and still remains a global concern.

According to the UNICEF 2019 Annual Report,  Nigeria was ranked as one of the top three countries in the world that has inadequate access to clean drinking water and ranked second for Open Defecation practices.

Uju Rochas-Anwukah, is The Country Director of The U-Save Foundation, prioritizing safe water, sanitation, hygiene and climate change. She uses her resources to advocate for healthier Nigerian communities. With extensive experience and degrees in Biochemistry, Public Health, and pursuing law, she's a trailblazer for positive change, fostering impactful initiatives, and driving transformation in Nigeria and beyond.

Mrs Uju Anwukah

Country Director

Uju Rochas-Anwukah, is The Country Director of The U-Save Foundation, prioritizing safe water, sanitation, hygiene and climate change. She uses her resources to advocate for healthier Nigerian communities. With extensive experience and degrees in Biochemistry, Public Health, and pursuing law, she's a trailblazer for positive change, fostering impactful initiatives, and driving transformation in Nigeria and beyond.

Obasanjo Fajemirokun is a project management expert and social entrepreneur with over seven years of experience working at the intersection of providing access to inclusive and equitable quality education in low-income communities, WASH, Climate Change and advocacy for the inclusion of People With Disabilities, Women and Youths in governance and electoral process.

Programs Manager

Obasanjo Fajemirokun is a project management expert and social entrepreneur with over seven years of experience working at the intersection of providing access to inclusive and equitable quality education in low-income communities, WASH, Climate Change and advocacy for the inclusion of People With Disabilities, Women and Youths in governance and electoral process.

Stephen Silas is passionate about adding value, driving change and altering narratives. He is a social development enthusiast and a programme innovation expert, a Strong communicator and creative writer, Skilled in project management, volunteer management, teacher training, and research. He is very innovative, confidently smart, effective and proficient team player, Visionary artistry and leader.

Project Coordinator

Stephen Silas is passionate about adding value, driving change and altering narratives. He is a social development enthusiast and a programme innovation expert, a Strong communicator and creative writer, Skilled in project management, volunteer management, teacher training, and research. He is very innovative, confidently smart, effective and proficient team player, Visionary artistry and leader.

Chioma Odogwu is an experienced professional with a background in program coordination, project management, and customer service within the healthcare industry. With a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, she has gained a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical operations and patient care. Her career has encompassed roles in both nonprofit organizations and private companies, where she has consistently demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to achieving project objectives.

Admin Officer

Chioma Odogwu is an experienced professional with a background in program coordination, project management, and customer service within the healthcare industry. With a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, she has gained a comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical operations and patient care. Her career has encompassed roles in both nonprofit organizations and private companies, where she has consistently demonstrated strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to achieving project objectives.

With a strong foundation in monitoring and evaluation, Panasung leverages his skills in data management and statistics to derive valuable insights for the organization. His expertise in analyzing data allows him to identify areas of improvement and assess the effectiveness of programs, contributing to evidence-based decision-making.
